Location. Positioned next to Gerald R. Ford Park, The Wren at Vail is located two blocks from the main village in Vail, Colo. Vail's Tyrolean style village boasts trendy shopping along with fine restaurants and the obvious recreational pursuits. The Colorado Ski Museum and Hall of Fame is two blocks from the property and Beaver Creek Village is a 10 mile drive. Vail runs a free shuttle service from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with shorter hours during shoulder seasons.
Hotel Features. The staff of The Wren at Vail provide concierge and business services, and safe deposit boxes are located at the front desk. A community room offers games and two computers with complimentary high speed Internet access. Video rentals are available and guest laundry facilities are on site. The resort offers an outdoor pool and a jetted tub, and ski shuttles tote guests to and from local attractions and ski areas.
Guestrooms. Each of the guest condos are individually owned and decorated, but all feature balconies, gas fireplaces, and kitchens with refrigerators, ranges and microwave ovens. High speed Internet access is available for a fee and cable television and VCRs are standard.
Expert Tip. The Eagle Bahn Gondola transports guests to Adventure Ridge for dining, ice skating, snowmobiling, laser tag, tubing and ski biking.
