Ubicación. El Hyatt Place Milford está en Milford, Connecticut, a menos de 3 km del River Park Historic District. Chalres Island está a 5 km. El hotel está a 10 km del centro de New Haven y a 11 km de Yale University.

Charles Island es ahora un santuario de aves, conocido por sus garcetas y garzas. Las ruinas del monasterio católico están en la isla, parte del Silver Sands State Park. Nunca se encontró el tesoro.
